Everyone has heard of Nepal. That mythical place of Kathmandu’s temple squares, soaring stupas and cobbled medieval lanes. It’s the place that Mount Everest and 7 other of the 10 highest mountains on Earth call home.
Our 600-mile journey commences in the magical capital of Kathmandu. From there we head to the sports capital of Nepal, Pokhara, through the twisties of the Himalayan foothills to Tansen and onward to Lumbini, the birthplace of the Buddha. Next up we experience the 360 sq. mi. Chitwan National Park, one of the best places in Asia to observe wildlife in their natural habitat. The final leg of our expedition loops us back toward Kathmandu via the beautiful World Heritage Site of Bhaktapur.
